A family creed for a family that lives outdoors
Some families are happiest with mud on their boots. This creed is built from the values outdoor families pick again and again: nature, adventure, perseverance for the long climbs and simplicity for the nights in a tent. Green is the traditional heraldic color of hope and joy, and the stag stands for peace and harmony, an animal that only fights when it must. The hard-times answer is the hiker's rule: keep going, one step at a time. Print it small enough to fit in a camper, or big enough for the cabin wall.
The creed
In our family:
We go outside together, rain or shine.
We say yes to adventures, big and small.
We get back up every time we fall.
We slow down and notice what we have.
We share in each other's happiness.
We spend our weekends outside together.
When life is hard, we keep going, one step at a time.
One day, we hope people will say: they were adventurous, and they loved each other.
This is our family, and this is our promise.
