A family creed for a reunion
A reunion is the rare day when four generations are in one place, which makes it the best time to write down what holds the family together. Run the session with one phone per household, or send relatives invite links ahead of time and collect their answers before everyone arrives. This example leads with togetherness and tradition, and uses the wolf, which never hunts alone. Print the result on the reunion T-shirts or a banner, and the next reunion has a theme waiting for it.
The creed
Here is what we believe, together:
We make time for each other, every day.
We keep our family stories alive.
We love each other out loud, every single day.
We make people feel at home, because they are.
We count our blessings out loud, often.
We make every holiday special, together.
When things get hard, we stick together.
Wherever life takes us, we come home to each other.
We hope our great-grandchildren will say we were close-knit.
Wherever we go, we go together.
