Old prints: getting them in
- No scanner? Lay the print flat by a window and take a photo straight down with your phone. Fill the frame and avoid glare.
- Set the year. A scan carries the day it was scanned. Open each old photo here and type the year (or the full date if you know it). A year on its own is fine.
- Name the files by year if you're scanning a box of them: "1974 school.jpg" is read as 1974 automatically.
For a gift
Grandparents rarely post reels, but they watch them again and again. Add a title card such as "Grandma, 1952 to today", choose Ambient or Warm piano, and slow it down to about 1.5 seconds a photo so each decade gets a moment. Download the MP4 and send it, or play it on the TV over a cable or screen mirroring.

Questions
Does it work with black-and-white photos?
Yes. Faces are found in black-and-white and faded prints too. The morph blends a black-and-white photo into a colour one smoothly.
Can I make one for a couple?
Each reel follows one face, which keeps the eyes steady. Make one reel per person, or one that runs from childhood photos of one partner to wedding photos where you choose that partner's face.
Do the photos leave my computer?
No. Everything runs inside the browser tab; nothing is uploaded.
