Myth check
Was Juicero too early?
Not a timing failure since 2026-10-25 · ledger #40
The packs could be squeezed by hand; no enabler fixes that.
Short answer
Juicero raised $120M for an internet-connected juice press priced at $699, later $399, that squeezed proprietary packs. In 2017 reporters showed the packs could be squeezed by hand about as well, and the company shut down that September. No future enabler fixes a product the customer does not need.
