3D logo animations for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube
A short 3D logo loop is one of the easiest pieces of brand content to make, and one of the most reused: launch posts, profile videos, story stickers, intro cards and website headers. A few choices decide whether it looks native on each platform.
Size by platform
| Where | Shape | Pixels |
|---|---|---|
| Instagram and Facebook feed | 1:1 | 1080 × 1080 |
| Reels, Stories, TikTok, YouTube Shorts | 9:16 | 1080 × 1920 |
| YouTube intros and outros, LinkedIn video, presentations | 16:9 | 1920 × 1080 |
Length and motion
- 5 seconds suits most posts; it's long enough to see the material and short enough to loop.
- 3 seconds for story stickers and quick cuts.
- 8 seconds for calm, slow motion behind text, or a website header.
- Sway shows off chrome, gold and glass reflections. Spin is the boldest. Float suits luxury and wellness brands.
Adding sound
The loop has no audio, so add it where you post: a track from the app's music library on Instagram or TikTok, or your own sound in a video editor. Platforms' licensed music is usually safer than adding a commercial song yourself.
Posting so it loops seamlessly
- Instagram, TikTok and Shorts replay videos automatically, and the loop has no visible seam.
- To make a longer clip, repeat the MP4 back to back in your editor; the joins won't show.
- For a website header, use the MP4 in a muted, looping, autoplaying video element; it's far smaller than a GIF.
Text and captions
Put the brand name, launch date or call to action in the platform's own text tools, or as a separate layer in your editor, rather than in the logo file. Text added by the platform stays sharp and editable.
Should I keep the "made with Logo Sculptor" mark?
It's your choice. Untick it before you export if you'd rather your post show only your brand.
